SafeTrx Active Map and Alert Features

The following useful features are available on the SafeTrx Active map pages that are shared to contacts for activity shares, assistance requests and emergency alerts:
Location Map Zooming and Panning - simply pinch and zoom the map or drag it with your fingers on a phone to get more detail or see the location in a wider context.
Copy and Share Current Location - the users current location will be displayed in the top right of the panel. Clicking the copy icon next to this will put the location into your clipboard so you can quickly share if you need to send to someone such as emergency services or someone doing a collection.
Share Function - clicking the activity share in the top right corner of the screen allows you to send a link to the activity page through any of your favourite phone or desktop apps. This can be useful if you need to share an updated location with someone or share with a wider audience.
Directions - clicking the directions icon in the top right corner of the screen allows your contacts to quickly open the mapping function on their phone and get guided navigation straight to your latest location.

Searchlight - this unique feature can be turned on to give you a distance and bearing between the person viewing the share on their phone and the wearer of the watch. It will also display a searchlight to indicate the direction the person holding the phone is facing and travelling. This can be a vital tool when trying to locate the person wearing the watch, especially at sea.
Full Screen Map - toggle on the full screen map to remove all the other information and give a maximised view of the map on the screen.
Terrain Map - turning on the terrain map will give you a terrain overlay instead of the standard map view. This can be useful when trying to determine someone's situation when on land.

Alert Guidance - for emergency alerts only, your contact will be given direction on what steps to take when they receive the alert that are specific to the appropriate rescue services . They simply click the 'What should I do now?' button
Replay Session - your contacts will be given a replay control and timeline that will allow them to replay any part of your session. While this may be interesting for your friends and family to view, it can also be an important tool in the event of an emergency.
Equipment List - your contacts will be shown the details of any equipment that you have set up and assigned to your activity. This information can be useful both in terms of helping to find you and understanding the details of your circumstance.
Messaging - the messaging function allows you to have a two way conversation between contacts and the watch wearer while in activity, assistance or alert mode. Short messages (up to 50 characters) can be sent from the share screen and optional responses provided to allow simple, two way communications.

Splits - the splits function allows you to break down your activity into a set of even splits, in order to help analyse your performance. The splits can be time based or distance based and you set the interval.

Data View - the data view lets you see important metrics graphed along the timeframe of your activity. Depending on the setting on your watch and the availability of data, you will be able to see data on heart rate, speed, pace and altitude
